‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all over Paragon,
Not a villain was stirring, not even an Automaton,
The heroes hung out at Pocket D in packs,
Not patrolling or fighting, but being quite lax.
The citizens wandered all about the zones,
Like a bunch of mindless honeybee drones.
And Enath who was floating high above the city,
Was composing a limerick he thought was quite witty.
When out of the blue there was such a clatter,
With a bang and a boom, the quiet was a-shatter.
Down through the night Enath flew like a shot,
Only to come face-to face with a giant red and white robot!
The moon gleamed off its red metal body with a glow,
It had a metal beard as white as new snow!
And upon it’s back was something quite queer…
A tiny little elf with button eyes, bright and clear!
He was twisting some knobs and pulling a stick,
The robot started moving with a clatter and click!
Quicker than thought, the robot leaped high,
And landed on a rooftop up in the sky!
Up through the air Enath did soar,
His curiosity piqued, he wanted to see more.
That little elf hopped off the robots back,
And from inside fetched a giant, bulging sack.
With a smile and a wink that little elf scampered,
He moved to the nearest chimney unhampered.
Up he jumped and went in with a pop,
And down that chimney the little elf did drop!
Soon after there popped up with a bang and a flash,
That button eyed elf that moved quick as a dash!
His sack was all empty and flapping behind,
He leaped on the robot, which started with a grind!
Enath laughed when he saw this in spite of himself,
And grinned large as life at a wink from that elf!
Who then raised up his quite deep voice to call,
“Merry Christmas, Paragon! Happy New Year to all!”
