Description:
Phillipa needs your help with a dangerous situation. A group of engineers was working on the War Walls near Talos Island when they were captured by the Rikti. The Rikti have attempted to bring down War Walls before, and if they can stop the engineers from making their adjustments, they just might succeed. The good news is that the villains have been isolated in an emergency forcefield. The bad news is that it may not prevent them from affecting the War Walls. You've got to rescue the engineers and prevent the Rikti from destroying the force fields that protect the city. If the War Walls fall, Paragon City will be ten times more vulnerable to a Rikti attack. You'll have to rescue all of the hostages and shut down any computer the Rikti have overridden.

| This is a "board train" mission, so the travel time is considerably less than the majority. Simply get to the nearest train, and you're off. Once inside the "force field," you're tasked with rescuing 3 hostages, protecting 3 machines, and defeating Onakti. Once you've completed the mission, you receive the War Wall Defender badge (pictured below the map). Return to Phillipa, and she explains that you prevented the Rikti from overriding the city's teleportation network. Had they succeeded, there would've been strike forces in the city within hours. The people of Paragon owe you a debt of gratitude. I rated the level of difficulty at 3 because it takes a while to find all of the assigned targets. The reward listed is for a level 31 hero. |
