Everett says, "We've uncovered another nest of Clockwork in an abandoned warehouse. I need a hero to get in there and clean out the Clockwork warehouse. If we don't move fast, these metal monstrosities will take over our city."

After you accept the mission, Everett says:

Be careful as you enter the mission. There are patrols in here and the first one starts pretty close to the front door.
Once everyone is in, you have two things you have to do.
First of all, this is a kill-all mission. That means you have to clean out all the Clocks. Most will be the same level, including the patrols. There is at least one group a level higher than the others. For a kill-all, this one is relatively easy.
Second, you have to find a clue. It's on a glowing bulletin board somewhere in the warehouse. When you search the bulletin board, the clue appears in your clue bag. It says:
| QUOTE | You found this note on a bulletin board in a Clockwork nest. It reads:
'The prisoner will cooperate, or he will suffer the consequences. All must serve the mighty purpose of the Clockwork King!" |
When you talk to Everett again, he says:
| QUOTE | This note you found certainly does make it seem like someone is being forced to help the Clockwork King. I will get the word out on the street. Maybe we can find this man before it's too late.
The note on the bulletin board, the engraved Clockwork robot. They both point to the same conclusion: someone is being forced to work for the Clockwork. It's up to you to do something about it. |
Your story arc clue also gets updated. It now says:

It began with a couple of routine Clockwork missions. While clearing out a Clockwork nest, you found a note indicating that a man was being held captive by the Clockwork. While defeating Clockwork on the streets of Paragon City, you found a Clockwork robot with the words 'help me' inscribed on its surface. |
