Description:
Hinkley says, "The Warriors recently got ther hands on the Platonic Solids. they're ancient ritual tools of the Cult of Pythagoras, which practiced an abstract branch of magic based around geometry and geometric mathematics. A single solid is potentially capable of folding reality, time and probability. I need someone to get the Platonic Solids away from the Warriors before they accidentally unfold space and time. You only have 90 minutes to recover the artifacts."
This mission is not a part of Hinkley's story arc.

After you accept, Hinkley says, "There's a rumor that the Warrior leader behind these thefts is trying to revive thePythagorean cult."
You have two objectives in this mission. First of all, you need to find the Platonic Solids. There are 4 of them, each in a separate glowie. This time, the only glowies in the mission are the 4 you need. As you find each Solid, you get a clue:
| QUOTE | Platonic Tetrahedron
The refracted depths of this crystalline solid are hypnotic. You have to pull yourself away and concentrate on the task ahead. |
| QUOTE | Platonic Hexahedron
As you look through the facets of this crystal cube, you can see glimpses of other worlds. |
| QUOTE | Platonic Icosahedron
Each facet of the 20-sided crystal reflects alternate versions of the last few seconds of time. |
| QUOTE | Platonic Octahedron
This eight-sided crystal is cracked and dark. |
Once you have all the glowies, you still have to defeat the gang leader and his crew. You are looking for a Warrior Slasher Elite, named Pythagoras. Defeat him and everything in the same room with him to finish the mission.
After you have completed these objectives, the clock will stop and you will have unlimited time to finish clearing the map. There are no ambushes even after you defeat Pythagoras, but there are a few patrols.
Return to Hinkley and he says:
| QUOTE | | You make the hardest fights seem easy. The Platonic Solids are safe, and you managed it before the Warriors did any damage with them. Actually, my MAGI contacts tell me we were pretty lucky. The Octahedron was cracked centuries ago, and the most powerful Platonic Solid, the Dodecahedron, was lost in the destruction of the Library of Alexandria. Still, if they'd learned enough, the Warriors might have been able to make new ones. The city owes you again. |
