Description:
Hinkley says, "I need you to report to the Security Chief for Dark Astoria and help fight the Banished Pantheon. He didn't give me any details, but he sounded swamped."
This mission is not a part of Hinkley's story arc. This will take you into Dark Astoria, which requires security level 21 or higher to enter.
You MUST complete this mission before you can start Hinkley's story arc. If you want to take the mission and drop it, then talk to the Security Chief before you drop the mission. Otherwise, you will still have to go into Dark Astoria.

After you take the mission, go talk to the Security Chief. He's standing right outside the gate to Dark Astoria.
When you talk to him, he will give you this briefing:

The maps say 'Astoria,' but this place has always been 'Dark Astoria' to the people of Paragon City. The cemetery up there dates back to the prehistoric era, and there's sort of a spooky quality to it. Of course, Very few people go in there anymore - not since the dead started crawling out the ground! We're pretty sure it's the Banished Pantheon behind it all. They've got the magic to do it. You get rid of a few zombies, more come back. Even worse, there's a giant zombie in there. That's why the authorities have abandoned the place. Heroes should go in there only in small teams. |
Now you have to go into Dark Astoria and defeat 20 Banished Pantheon. You can hunt anywhere in the zone and it will still count. They can be found anywhere at all in there, and in large numbers. As far as finding them goes, this is as easy as it gets. The hard part is the huge groups, which can sometimes make this very difficult for solo players. |
