The Brickstown Task Force focuses mainly on Crey with the final mission being full of 5th Column. This Task Force was much harder then the previous task force because of the Paragon Protectors. If you haven’t faced these Boss mobs yet, be afraid. They do ridiculous amounts of damage on a hit and each protector is modeled after a certain Archetype. Bottom line, they are powerful Heroes that aren’t very friendly. With a group of 8 players it isn’t uncommon to come across 5 Paragon Protectors in one group of villains, with another group of protectors around the corner.
It’s a good idea to pickup a balanced group before you head into this task force, otherwise, it will be a long, and painful experience. As always, having a strong healer is a big bonus here, and with Paragon Protectors around each corner, the healer will get quite a workout.
Mission Breakdown
1) Defeat all Security Forces
2) Defeat all foes in lab (seek clues)
3) Defeat Security Chief, his men
4) Kill 20 Crey
5) Infiltrate Base (hack the computer)

7) Talk with Miss Liberty in Atlas Park

9) Kill 40 Crey in Crey’s Folly
10) Defeat Hopkins and his men
Mission Notes
Outside of the final mission (10) it’s pretty much just never-ending battles with Crey. Paragon Protectors, Infiltrators, Cryo Tanks, Medics, the list goes on and on of Crey you’ll have to tackle before finishing off this Task Force.
Mission 8 (Rescue Councilmen Birch) does have a lot of lower level Crey then the other missions so it should be a walk in the park for any group who has made it this far down the mission list.
Archvillain Battle
What can I say, Hopkins is a wimp. We’re not talking total wimp, but as far as Archvillains go, I wasn’t extremely impressed. Just isolate him and spam the heals while everyone beats down the not-so-unique looking Archvillain for that Task Force Bonus.
After the large bonus which is around 5000 xp (dependent on your level), you’ll get a level 38 Single Origin Enhancement.
