Description:
Perez Park is known as a "Hazard Zone", meaning that it has been isolated for one reason or another and has controlled access based upon the security level of your hero (at least 7 for this zone). Perez Park is a large forest surrounded by city buildings. At one end of the park is a large lake with rivers branching from it.
Find a Villain:
Hydra's are found in the lake areas in the middle of the map from the levels 12-15.
Clockwork, Vahzilok and Circle of Thorns are inside the inner wall, usually in the wooded areas. They are pretty easy to find if you run around for a bit.
Hunting:
Perez Park is the first real grind zone you'll encounter as a hero and though you can get a lot more xp with a good group in Perez Park, you also have a higher chance of death because of the density of the villains in each encounter.
The hunt is seperated into two parts. The streets and the inner-wall. For maximum XP you're best bet is to stick to the streets killing villains your level (or 1/2 levels lower) until you graduate to Hydra hunting in the Middle of the Park.
On the streets it is possible to find groups with no Lieutenants or Bosses which means an AoE character can do quite well grouping, partnering or even soloing by selective hunting. The minion-only hunting will end once you decide to go beyond the streets and hunt on the inner area.
