Description:
Dark Astoria is a dark, foggy cityscape with abandoned buildings and vehicles strewn everywhere. At the northeast corner of the zone is an enormous descrated cemetry.
Find a Villain:
Circle of Thorns can be found on rooftops in random places of the map.
Tsoo also pop up in very low density in a few random places.
Hunting:
You'll notice that there isn't much of an option on 'what to kill' in Dark Astoria. You'll be hunting the Panthenon. A lot of people really like to hunt in this zone so here are a few tips...
Caltrops don't work! Most of the Chambers will jump right over them and the others move out of the area fast enough that it almost negates the use of Caltrops in the first place. I've found a few uses for Caltrops in certain situations but you should make your own decision on when to use them in Dark Astoria.
One thing that you'll notice is that whenever you come near a newly spawned group of Panthenon, they are always close together, however if you give them a few seconds, they start walking around and become a little less tightly-knit. If you are big on crowd controlling and AoE's your best bet is to stay in one place until your necessary skills have recharged then go look for the next group. Once you find it, act fast and don't let them spread out too far. Super speed works wonders for this task.
Beware the Shamans, especially Avalance Shamans. They have some really ugly skills that could spell doom for your group if you don't take them out fast enough. Picking a group of Pathenon your level that has more than 2 Shamans may get ugly, so be mindful before you attack.
