| News Submission Guidelines |

Welcome to the News Guidelines Forums. This is your official place on finding out the Do's and Dont's of news submissions. Please read and heed before submitting news, as this will help you immensely. Thank you for reading and heeding.
News Regulations
* Always use an image but try not to go over 200 width
* News articles should have 2 paragraphs (8 sentence minimum), if there isn't much to say, add fluff
* Large font sizes & odd font colors are rarely used in news articles. Order and organization is key.
* The purpose of most news articles is to give news, not get attention. Use your better judgment on which news articles are designed to benefit the network and which are simply giving news and don't really need the bold or awkard colors to get attention.
*Do not quote exactly from that site. Use your own words, and if you must quote, quote as little as possible.
*Provide a link to the origin of the news.

I'd like to give a reminder to the community. I love getting help on finding news, but I have a few things to say.
I will no longer fix your submissions. Read what this guide says and follow the rules. I am saying this because a news submission of one written line and a link are not news. Fluff it up. An example of this is what I did concerning the Halloween test event with this news post. The only reason I fixed that news post is it's good news everyone wants to know, and to provide an example of a proper news submission. Please read and heed the news guidelines, as you'll receive no PM concerning why your news submissions will be deleted for not following the guidelines.

LoL...I understand. Unfortunately for me, I'm not too good at adding fluff. I read through how you set up the news, and remember what I submitted....yeah, yours is sooooooooo much better. Guess I gotta kick my brain into overdrive for the next submission :p

Let it flow, dont try to create something. Most of must stuff is spur of the moment and also my superiorly vast mind filled with the endless pop culture info and such. My extensive vocabulary allows me to create things and things like that. Or something to that effect.

Im always here Ron; just sometimes I dont contribute in the forums like norm.....football! Its back and me happy. Got my Madden 07 playing and games all weekend...WOOT! My CoH is still active just...um...havent been on much but I been getting an itch to play my villian some more. Maybe knock out 10 more levels!
And you do great Govt...maybe not as great as me but who could possibly top such beauty, skill, and divinity? Ok maybe not divinity but the others maybe.

Hay don't worry.. Writting is not much harder than talking. Just type what you would say in real life... Fluff is eazy also.. A good example(s); Sigh, I realy love this site. Or, See me jump for joy.. This site is real great..
Another example of fluff; I took some of your abouve pairgraphy and added fluff:;
Sigh, I understand. My face looks very sad as I let you know that unfortunately for me I am not to good at adding the soft white stuff we all love as fluff.. My eyes bug out as I read through how you set....
Well, you get the pitcher...

you can but doing submissions is much like posting a forum. and if you send an email you dont get the credit you deserve from the submission. all you need to do is click the "green" tab above the news for that says "submit news". then just insert all the good stuff.
