the other night my level 9 Ice/Ice Blaster was invited to a street hunt in Perez. WOW what a blast everyone leveled 2x.
we had the time of our young hero lives and most importantly no one died.
Everyone is complaining about the Hollows ....come back to Perez....remember the Hydra's they were great team hunts...

Perez.... ah those were the days. And you sound like a travel brochure "come back...." think that was the Jamaica. Anyway my main scrapper grew up in Perez. It was tough crowded, sometimes frustrating... and fun. I've tried going back there, but not many people any more. used to be crowds at the gate like hollows, but not much now. Most of what I see are highers badge hunting. When I get high level missions there it does make me remember the first days of playing and brings a smile to my face. Got lost and dead a few times, but learned good lessons and had fun.

Lush forests....beautiful lake...inviting picnic groves....enjoy a day with team mates in Perez Park.
I guess the idea is to get it back to where it was.... I agree it was a tough place ...I was and still am always getting lost there but I honed my skills there too. The Hollows is tough too and you spend all your time traveling to mish's while trying not to be killed
Come back to Perez you'll be glad you did.

I didn't like Perez at first, but I've spent alot of time their lately, just hunting. It is a really cool zone with a fairly original layout.
The most annoying thing I found about it was if you have a mission in the Boneyard by Galaxy and were by Skyway on Hell's Highway, that was a long walk ahead of you.
As for the Hollows, running to missions trying not to die, I think that place is the best to learn how not to piss mobs off. I have a friend who plays off and on and he is the worst for whipping around corners and into huge groups. I've threatened to teleport him in the middle of the Gulch more than a few times, just so he could learn.

I love Perez Park, hate the freaking Hollows. PP has so many nice amenties. 4 zones to access, nicely grouped mobs, and all new players forget to go there.

Skulls? Zone gates? Picnic? Perez is the lowbie XP farm. Just go to Everett Lake and reel in the Hydra by the hundred!

i had way out grown the hallows when they came around... baby Liz grew up in PP... learned a lot of useful info... like if you are lower than lvl 12 it is just debt to go into the park, but w/ the right team the north east cornor has this building.... there are groups of hellions all around it, large groups of minions and every now and then a lieu or boss... w/ a team of about 4 or 5 you can do circles around this building and never running out of bad guys to kill b/c the place respawns by the time you have made your circle... w/ the right team you can take a character from lvl 8-12 in no time (if you are into that sort of thing)....
and of course the cute cuddlies are there for once you are lvl 12 and higher.... ohhhhhhhh the cute adorable cuddlies, god i love those guys... and cherish them while you can at that low lvl b/c you won't get a chance to see them again until you hit lvl 36 and can enter the abandonded sewer network
and when i do start my occaision alt, i don't take them to the hallows, i really hate that place

Hollows and Perez are both good.
Perez teaches you about how to get lost and how to get found. You learn or die.
I learned the forest well so I don't get lost hardly any now and lead other noobs thru.
Hollows teaches you how to run around pretty much anywhere without dieing regardless of lvl.
I used to hate hollows a lil. Now I can take a hero that doesn't even have so much as swift and run 1.5 miles across the zone without dieing np.....at lvl 6.
Its funny to get somewhere be4 the peeps with travel powers because they find aggro and die.
Either zone is just as good.
All the same though I keep my tp hero in atlas to temporarily join team and tp people up if needed.
