| Ask A Silly Question (AASQ) |
|
|
|
Well, I saw a similar thread on the official formus and thought it was hilarious. They are actually going to do away with it because the thread has gotten too long. I thought it would be fun to start one here.
It works like this. I will pose a question. The next respondant will answer the question with something funny and pose a question of their own. It keeps going like this until everyone has lost interest. I'll start the ball rolling...
Q) I saw a level 2 in PI today. Why would such a low level hero be in this high level area?
A) He is not level 2 but level 52. The game only displays levels up to 50 before rolling back to 1 again. Invite this experienced player to your AV-hunting team immediately!
Q) I bought a Headband at the Magic Store to enhance my healing powers, but it is not showing up on my costume. Is this a bug or do I need to go to Icon?

A) This is a serious bug that starts to delete parts of your costume at diffrent times. After there is no more costume to delete, it deletes your powers and reinders you naked and unable to defend yourself.
Q) I keep seeing the Clockwork carrying around lumber. Is there going to be a new villian they are creating?

A) Not exactly. The Clockwork are gathering lumber for the wooden throne they are building for the Clockwork King. He is very large, so a great deal of lumber is needed.
Q) While on a recent trip to the Hollows, I noticed a fair number of Trolls dancing and playing drums. Is this similar to the dance parties in Atlas? Can I join in and dance with the Trolls?

A) Absolutely! You haven't partied until you've been to a troll party! The best ones are found in groups whose names are in purple. Plop right down in the middle of the group and start up your boombox!
Q) Some heroes have pets. I think that it would be cool to have one, too, but I can't find the petstore. Where is it?

A) The petstore is located in the "HIVE" zone. I think I saw a special sell for Ritki Monkeys!!!
Q) I was all excited that I reached lvl 20 and was going to get a new costume selection, then I realized that there is nowhere to change my costumes without everyone seeing me. Is there a place to go to change costumes?

A) Usually heroes who are too timid to change costumes in front of everyone go to Dark Astoria and run straight forward from the gate to the fog bank between the first two buildings. It's nice, quiet and secluded from prying eyes.

A) Actually Rest needs to be fully slotted to be made perma. There is a little quirk that you need to be aware of though. The permaRest only works if you have no enhancements in any of the six slots. This bug has not been fixed yet, because thhe powers that be feel that no one will ever leave slots empty, since everyone knows players drop enhancements in slots quicker than a hippie watching Fantasia drops acid.

A) Yes. But you run the risk of getting sucked through a black hole that leads to Cryptic studios and upon entering they beat you repeatedly with the nerf bat. And if you happen to be a regen scrapper, you get treated to seconds.
Q) Where exactly do the weapon scrapper's pull their weapons from?

A) Actually, that is one of the new features of the upcoming Issue 5. In Steel Canyon, there is a store near the top of the map called "Icon." There you can change your heroe's costume, as well as order shirts and such for yourself online. You have to speak with the person behind the BACK counter however, and only between the hours of 12pm-8pm PST, M-F.
Q) I hear that Issue 5 is coming out soon. I currently have Issue 4, but how do I order back issues 1-3?

A) Sadly there is no way to get the past issues. It is one of the perks they give players who have been around for such a long time. But if you continue to play forever you will be able to receive all the new Issues released.
Q) I've had this game for 2 months and I've never been able to figure out how to switch it to single player mode. Any ideas?

A) There is a cord that extends from the back of your computer....pull this from the wall. *Warning* This mode may lead to depression and the abstract idea that there is a world outside of your computer.

| QUOTE | | Q) Is the jello that sits in the middle of the Hive best served with chicken or steak? |
A) Chicken or steak...chicken or steak. Being that I am a high culinary expert as well as a hero of Paragon City I recommend both. For one, it is a long trip to the Hive and at 1st you maybe only hungry for one but due to the trek you may desire to feast like a king. Be sure to bring plenty of A1 for the steak. I also suggest to bring your own Whip Cream topping because there are no stores open on days ending in Y. To make things better stop by and get Winnie the Pooh for he feast. For he much loves going to the Hive....he so enjoys honey that he can get there. Plus bears are cool.
Q) Paragon City seems to be a city busy with people but something lacks. Everywhere you go there are adults but no children. So is there some slave labor operations or a mass conspiracy to keep the children of Paragon City hidden?

A: Yes. A super villain known as Katheelee Gifford has created a slave labor camp that creates low budget clothing for all of the Paragon City citizens. Her line is being sold at the various enhancement shops.
Q: I had a mission where I had to Kill a bunch of Skuls while they were partying and such. There were all sorts of lights and some kickin techno music playing. I looked all over, but I couldn't find the Death Head DJ nor could I find the Death Head Bartender...anyone know where they were?

A. I'd hold off on that purchase. It seems like a reasonable deal and all, but I heard rumor that the cost of each train ride is getting nerfed in I5. Not sure though - haven't been on the test server.

A) Train is the best option because
TP is nothing more than toilet paper and as we all know toilet paper is only good securing heavy objects.
SS are no longer around, they were defeated in WW II and for another matter they get lazy after the 1st mile.
As for SJ, well those are just silly letters put together. They dont do anything like flimflam.

A. 7's the key number here. Think about it. 7-Elevens. 7 doors. 7, man, that's the number. 7 chipmunks twirlin' on a branch, eatin' lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch.
