Well probably not so much as mystery to the more experienced players.
Thought I'd give the tank AT a try recently so created a INV/ENG Tanker on Union. Decided to play the same way on the early levels as I've done on other characters which is to not spend any influence on enhancements until I get to at least 7-8. This is where the strange bit kicks in. I've just reached lvl 7 and so far have found just 2 damage resistance enhancements. Loads of range, knockback, holds etc which are of absolutely no use whatsoever to me but nothing that is of any use to my defense powers. When you consider that 2 of my earlier powers are Temp Inv and Resist Elements you can start to see the problem.
Has anyone else been affected by this or is it just particular to this type of power selection?

LOL I wish I understood this phenomenon... maybe others here know the facts, but I can tell you this... my regen scrappers who never even turn off sprint in a fight get nothing but blues and my invul tank, who prior to Issue 5 never got hurt, used to get nothing but greens... now I am talking inspirations to your enhancements but I do believe there is something in the drop protocol which encourages teaming. I don't know this, but I would like to hear others thoughts or the actual facts.

I think it's Murphy's Law coming into effect.
I swear, any time I make a Blaster, ALL I get are defense, damage resistance and so on and so forth that a blaster can't use. When I create a scrapper or a tank, I get tons of range and so on without getting any defense enhancements. It sometimes feels like the enhancement drop code on the game is to only drop the enhancements that you can't use.

I think the game just drops enhancements in a random manner at every level. When you are a few levels higher you'll have more powers and be able to take advantage of lots of different enhancements, but right now you can only use two or three kinds. So to you it looks like the drops are working against you when they are really behaving in the same manner as they would at higher levels.
I also tend to think that tanks use the least varied group of enhancements. It isn't unlikely that you could build a tank and only use damage, damage resistance, damage buff, and accuracy.
But mostly it is just that at low levels most enhancements aren't going to do you much good. I mean my Inv/SS tank got plenty of flight speed enhancement drops at level two when I couldn't use them. Now by the time he got up to level twenty they weren't useless, but highly useful.
I hope I've made some kind of sense. It is early in the morning for me. Still so sleepy.

My scrapper gets a lot of range enha. Corrupter - Buff enhas. MM - +endurance. Also I get a lot of defence insp, but no healing or endurance... :S

What kills me is how I seem to get nothing but tech and mutation and science enhancements with my magic Defender, even when fighting in Croatoa, and all those magic enhc when with my science Scrapper..... If only I could get them to the same level....could work out in the end.
