What does the collectors editition have extra from the normal one?
if i have the collectors edtion would i be able to play in the same servers as my friends with the normal game?
the collectors edition has like the same things as the normal game but with extra things right?
as my friends are going to have the normal game i would like to know if i can play with them as i am going to have the collectors edition.
wat are they?

The DVD Collectors Edition is no different game-wise than the regular game. There is the equivalent "Prestige Power Slide" power as with CoH DVD Edition, which is merely a fancy Sprint power, but otherwise, everything is exactly the same.
The major difference comes in packaging content. The Collectors edition comes with 7 Hero Clix figures plus a book of artwork. All of which are pretty cool btw.

Now about the collector edition, it has
All the City of Villains heroclix statues including an exclusive Lord Recluse (7 total)
The Arachnos logo for your chest and cape
An Art book of all the CoV artwork
A trading card of a CoV character
A 2 sided poster
A demo deck of the CoH/CoV card game (forgot about this one!)
A month Free game play
and last but not least...A trial version of CoH and Lineage II
80 bucks gets ya all that...Same game play as the regular edition, but, you get a set of logos for you costume and cape.

Owning a copy of the DVD Collectors Box Set, I'll say this.
If you are able to order it online, have a shop around. Check Amazon and play.com - which is kinda UK based so I dont know about overseas, mind you that'll get you the european version of the game.
I managed to get the DVD box for the same price as the regular edition, saving myself almost £20, which was half the going price at release.
The logo you get are the Arachnos spider symbol for your chest and you unlock a special Arachnos cape that is unlocked at 20th level which is DVD issue only. I've only seen 4 of these on the EU Defiant Server so far.
The artwork book is split into half for CoV and the other for CoH.
The heroclix figures are well modelled but I've kept then all packaged up as I don't play the game.
Your game card is a plastic credit card with a scratch off stip on the back and the wolf spider soldiers on the front.
All in all well worth the money but you'll find it cheaper online shopping around than you will in stores.

It operates just like sprint but instead of running around you slide all over the place.
