| What to do when u r in role play trouble |

Well thought id just put this in for fun, you know to see what kind of role play trouble there is.
One or two main troubles that role players get into are Opposite sex opinion (meaning like someone plays a girl but hes a guy or someone plays a guy but hes a girl) or discrimination about different sexes getting in the way and stealing all the glory. that or there just a someone is trying to hit on someone which i have seen recently and have myself even gotton hit on in one of my girl characters.Even by a weird girl who wanted to be my girlfriend and I didnt even know this Crazy girl. weird hu how a online game can turn into a fret zone or a fret party hu?

Okay I have some tips... :D
** this is a "character creation guide" I made if you need to know**
1) Play off of a villain group, zone, villain or another element in the game and use that as your template for your story/character.
2) When making a character, skip through all the steps until you get to costume creation.
3) NEVER use the Random Costume button. Instead, create a costume and change through different looks and styles until you find one that fits you best.
4) Now go back to the first step and select your archetype, origin and powers based on your costume, which intern as been based around the element in the game you based it around.
5) Select power pools that compliment your character and/or story and/or element and/or something else about your character.
6) Try using a shtick while playing (talk and act like your character).
7) By now you should have done the following:
-- Picked an element in the game to base your costume on.
-- Selected your archetype, origin and powers based on your costume.
-- Wrote your origin story after your new character.
-- Selected power pools that compliment your character.
-- Created an optional shtick to enhance role-play.
8) Another way to do this is to come up with an origin story based on an element in the game (as shown on step 1) and then design your character after your new story.
9) And make sure to name your character something that is associated with either his/her costume, game element, story or something else that is associated with them.
Things to avoid doing:
-- Using the Random Costume button.
-- Creating a costume/character that you don't like.
-- Listening to other poeple in the game and their critisism about your character. (This has happened to me several times since my character is a Defender with Presence as a power pool, and also tanks. I have also been told that Tankers can't have fly and Blasters can't have Fighting, but DON'T LISTEN TO THEM! It's your character and you should feel completely comfortable with him\her.)
This is how I created my highest level character. I have gotten many compliments on my costume and overall character and I love it too.

im not really that great of a role player, only really tried once, but it was loosely based on my own personality so i wasnt really RPing.
i have a great idea for a RP toon though that would disingrate the female v male idealogy when reverse sex RPing. i'm thinking about making a female toon that was once a male, but got kidnapped by X villain group and was forced to participate in a pilot program that changed him to a shim. very full of rage at losing his manhood, but compassionate because he was pumped full of estrogen and made to watch lifetime (television for victims) with his eyelids pinned open...
in fact, i might make shim now!
I won't dress up as Frosty the Snowman for a Christmas party...

wow, big, your horrible.
a deal about role-playing: make the character design, like powers you would like to play. make it powersets that are genrally fun at all levels (i have made a bunch that would have been really fun to play mid-30s, then lost interest because they arent even gonna resemble fun until then). give it a good backstory that ties into the powers/costume/ personality you wanna RP as, then knock urself out.
and yeah. people hit on opposite sexxed toons. it happens.

Big... dude, you have issues...
Not to be mean or anything. Maybe it's just because I'm really, really creative. I actually sit down and write an entire story about my character before I create them in the game. That may take alot of time for you, Big, so... um... Just, like... mmm...
Um, yeah I'm going to go see if there is something I missed about Role-Playing. Alot of people don't care about SRP (serious role-playing) but I have met a few people. WHERE IS YOUR MMORPG SPIRIT???? GET SERIOUS!! GET OUT THERE!! BE A HERO!!
Think of it like this; those NPCs are real fictional people, in real fictional danger. You must save them! Now go ahead and Role-Play, Big!

Well I play as mostly male characters but in real life I'm a chick just the femals characters look so flimsy lol. But I think I been known to say to other male characters their sexy or hot & they think I'm gay till I tell them haha. But yeah think it happens to us all.
