I got the idea for this thread from the Cool Names thread. Put down at least one character, and a good bio for him (her). You may do more than one character and bio. There is no space limitation for the bio unlike in-game; however, if you have ridiculously long bio(s) for your character(s), please do NOT use your siggy in your post for space and page load time reasons.

Put as many characters down (imagined or existing, all imagined in my case) as you desire, post every single word of bio you would like to put down, no limitations. Here's the backstory behind my main
( Dragon Surge 50.Sci.Tnk ) on Freedom :
Ex-Portal Corporation Researcher, Magnus Gradon, was recruited by the Draconis Corporation for his work in extra-dimensional wormhole dynamics. During one particular test of a new vortex paradigm, a wormhole was opened to an undiscovered dimension. The energies were not stable, though, and while the field was collapsing, an Ancient Talisman appeared from the other side covered in what looked to be cosmic mathematical hieroglyphs. Before being able to contain the Talisman in a force field, it engulfed our hero and his team in a blinding aura of power. Realizing what had happened, the CEO of the Draconis Corp. revealed that he was actually a Dragon, and informed our hero that an ancient Dragon prophecy had now been fulfilled. The Talisman had imbued our hero and the others with the powerforce known as the ‘Dragonsurge’, endowing Magnus with enhanced physical abilities. The Dragons had watched over man-kind for millennia, now Magnus would have to preserve Freedom in their name, as the Hero. . Dragon Surge !

Millennia ago, across the void of space, the Viperwyrms came to Praetorian Earth. They corrupted the souls of the Dragons that ruled over man-kind, causing them to weaken and decay, forcing them into hiding. Now, as the last of the Viper-Dragons prepares for his journey into the Abyss, he uses the last remaining power of their most ancient artifact, the ‘Dragonsurge Talisman’, to summon Warriors worthy enough to restore Chaos and Fear into the world. Upon seeing the citizen in peril, he lay waste to the Circle members and vowed not to return to the netherworld until he had eradicated the Circle from the planet.
C-8000 - AR/Devices Blaster
Bjorn Hinkle was a brilliant European scientist who came to work for Crey corporation on fast neuro-metallic circuitry for advanced artificial intelligence. The prototype model, the Crey 8000 (or C-8000) was the most advanced robot ever conceived. When Bjorn was nearly finished building it, Crey decided it was time for him to disappear and rigged his lab terminal to execute him. However, during the energy spike, Bjorn's conciousnes fused with the prototype. Bjorn destroyed the lab and cryogenically froze his body in a safe location. Now trapped in a mechanical shell, he has vowed to find a way to reclaim his humanity and destroy Crey in the process.

Interesting enough this weekend I started reading random peoples bios. There are some very cool ideas and some very well written bios out there. I'm dieing to post mine and will do so when I get home. (shame on me for reading here from work 8)
I cannot remember the name of the player or the "pretty" words they used but I read one really good one about a daughter of a superhero who had been recruited into some "galactic war" and married some important other "fighter" in the war. Then then returned their daughter to earth to be raised by some "super friends" of the father while the parents fought in the war. Then between the fact that she had super powers and was raised by crime fighters, she became a crime fighter herself.
In any event it was well written and I do it no justice in the telling. But it was pretty good.

i have made an AMAZING toon (villain) that i am very proud of... his bio's short, sweet, and to the point (its only two words and an acronym), however im not sure if the site managers would like it or not, so ill play it safe and not post it ;-) (that qualifies me as a tease! if interested, feel free to PM me, i like getting PMs makes me feel like i actually do have friends!)

Here's my story for Grinning Katana...
I once was a Dragon Enforcer for the Tsoo, until they told me I\'d sacrifice my life for them. Morons. I\'d say I don\'t need the training or these stupid tattoos to take revenge, but I\'d be lieing. After I left, those idiotic \'samurai\' took from me the one person I would give anything for...NO ONE messes with my lover...
and now for my newest toon, Discord Incarnate...
I found my powers when the most tragic event anyone or any'thing' out there could have given me...my one true love had been killed by the Tsoo, they said she was too much of a threat to be left alone, now they have ME to deal with...this is a war, and only one man's coming out alive...me...
if you haven't noticed, im in to the whole "you killed my lover, now youre dead" thing lol

Glasher bio:
Glasher was born Adam Richter on a remote island off the northern Alaskan coast. He was the son of Adam and Gloria Richter. Adam Sr. was a professor from Paragon University. He was studying the effects the Rikiti invasion had on the polar ice caps and any global warming that had taken place. From the day he was born, his parents knew there was something different, yet special about him. He would sweat profusely in the coldest weather Alaska could throw at him. He also seemed to have the innate ability to control ice and make it do whatever he wanted. At the age of 9 things really started changing for Adam. He grew over 3 feet from the age of 9 to the age of 10. One day he went on an exhibition with his father, when a huge Polar Bear attacked. His father and himself were cornered by the bear and were about to die, when Adam some how froze the bear in a block of ice and summoned a creature made of ice, that attacked and killed the polar bear. After this incident, his father knew Adam was meant for a greater purpose. He sent Adam to Paragon to see a colleague of his at the college. He was helping the influx of children with these special gifts; get control of their powers and to teach them how to use their powers for good. Then one day while Adam was fighting villains in Paragon, he ran into two other heroes, Andune and Shautru. They were members of the Supergroup Champions of the New Sun. They introduced themselves and Adam introduced himself as Glasher. They began to fight side by side and became friends. Then one day they extended an offer for Glasher to join Champions of the New Sun. Glasher graciously and emphatically accepted the offer. They helped Glasher further his abilities and recognize his full potential. They have been fighting the plague of villains that stain the streets of paragon ever since.

Here goes............
Solara Dmitri - Empathy Defender
Juanita Cameron never liked school. She would always try to find excuses to skip class or school alltogether. Then one day her father found recieved a call from school about her delinquency. She was punished and grounded for a week.
After serving her punishment, she had terrible bitter feelings towards her father and her school fir its "betrayal". She then broke into the school and snuck into the science lab with plans to destroy and sabotage.
She accidentally knocked over a large beaker filled with greenish glowing liquid. It splashed onto her and badly burned her. The fumes and the apparent shock of her injuries knocked her unconcious.
She woke up in the hospital surrounded by police around her bed. Amazing to the doctors, police and as well as herself, she discovered that her wounds healed at an alarming rate. And in fact, she discovered that she could heal others at a limited distance.
With an offer of amnesty from the Paragon Police Chief, she joined the ranks of Paragon City's Heroes.

I am making one for the most evil of all 4 of my ideas for villains, Technologic.

"The most evil robot ever to walk the face of the earth was created by Crey Industries. It was very small, but it had an IQ that was exponentially greater than that of their large destruction tanks. They named it Project 'Technologic' because it was so advanced at strategizing and planning. They programmed 4 other destroying robots and 2 healing robots so that their thoughts were connected to Technologic's. Unfortunately for them, Lord Recluse got wind of this project Technologic and sent out an ambush team to retrieve it. The facility was stormed just as the scientists were programming the manner in which it would act. Because of the excitement, they scrambled the code around to the most evil possible thought processes, and so the both the Arachnos troops and the Crey scientists were decimated by the robots under Technologic's command. Lord Recluse eventually found the tiny monstrosity himself, and convinced him to join the ranks of Arachnos."
I'll go ahead and add this to my game history bio for Technologic.

First off, welcome whispering ghost! Nice Avatar.
I have been dieing to post this, but I keep forgetting. The perfect place for all your bio's is available to you in your game history in your beautiful GameAmp profile. The perfect way to keep all the cool bio's and hero stories in one place. If you click on my eye below you get all my MMO toons ever made. But not all games are as bio friendly as COH, so not all of them have bio's. But all COH and COV toons do.
I would be great if all of you would add your toons and bio's to your game history. Then we can spent hours just browsing through all the members and read the great stories.

I have been dieing to post this, but I keep forgetting. The perfect place for all your bio's is available to you in your game history in your beautiful GameAmp profile. The perfect way to keep all the cool bio's and hero stories in one place. If you click on my eye below you get all my MMO toons ever made. But not all games are as bio friendly as COH, so not all of them have bio's. But all COH and COV toons do.
I would be great if all of you would add your toons and bio's to your game history. Then we can spent hours just browsing through all the members and read the great stories. |
Does this mean that, umm, you don't want us to post them here? I understand that we do have our profiles, and, as some know, I use it, but still, It's kinda cool to see them in public also for those who are too lazy to click the green gameamp handle and look at your game history.
