I am interested in getting a list of CoH Easter Eggs, Nods to Movies, References etc.
A few that I have noticed while playing are..
"I just feel kind of... kind of invincible" This quote from Jack Burton in Big Trouble in Little China is uttered with a tiny bit of paraphrasing by some of the Contaminated in Outbreak.
In the movie Silverado, Danny Glovers character Mal Johnson uttered the words "Now, I don't want to kill you, and you don't want to be dead." A close proximation to the lines uttered by some of the Skulls who just leave off the "now."
Serge in Icon based on the Bronson Pinchot character Serge in Bevery Hills Cop.

Isn't the "two hits, me hitting you and you hitting the floor." oft said by some of the skulls(I think) a rip off from some movie... dont know what but it sounds familiar

I'm pretty sure that I've heard some villains say "Say hello to my little friend" I'm about 90% sure, and we all know what movie that's from (well u should: Scarface)
I'll keep my eyes open for more :)
The "I don't want to kill you..." line is also said by the Hellions regularly to their victims
I guess I'm back then... :)

Eastgate, a neighborhood in the Hollows, is an area of Mordor in LOTR. "A Shadow of the Past" is chapter 2 in LOTR: TFOTR.

I've heard the Vozies saying, "Brains, brains!" From a horror movie that I couldn't remember right now, even if you had a gun pointed to my head.
Also heard the unnerving, "Tell me, is it safe?" from the movie, "The Marathon Man". Heard that during a mission in Steele Canyon. Didn't even realize what it was until I saw the Marathon Man a couple of days ago.
I saw a Skulls boss go, "This is my BooomStick!" from the "Army of Darkness" (I think it was a Skull boss)

I've heard trolls in the Hollows utter "You the Troll!" from time to time, which is of course a rip of "You the Man!" from some movie that escapes my memory at the moment.

From Night of the Living Dead? I understand Romero Heights in Dark Astoria is a reference to George Romero of that same fame and Raimi Arcade is named for Writer/Producer/Director Sam Raimi.

Sounds normal but it's part of a song most memorable on a movie called short circuit. :)

How about the classic skyraider phrase "Stay frosty."

also the phrase Good I prefer a stand-up fight was from Pvt. Hudson, same movie.

There is a picture on the wall behind the front desk in the hospitals. It is a "real" picture... maybe of the dev team?

Yeah I've seen that before. I'm guessing its the Dev team or main staff of the creators of the game. Who knows for sure...

I have one you all missed, the Nemisis Autonomatons(sp), which you will find in some of the higher lvl missions you can hear quoting lines from Office Space. "where is the TPS reports" "who made this coffee" just a couple of the ones i can remeber.

Perez Park has a zone called "Gaiman Woods" I would guess this is a tribute to Neil Gaiman (well known comic book writer)

Some of the Mobs from the recent Halloween even are taken from Celtic Mythology.
Eochai is the mythical King of the Firbolg who legend has it where the original inhabitants of Ireland.
Streng was the Champion of the Firbolg.
The three witches that sometimes came out the door when you got a "trick" may have been a nod to the Badb (thee witches) of the Tuatha De Danann.
The Illusion Control Power "Phantom Army" may also be a nod to the Tuatha De Danaan in reference to the Phantom Army summoned by Morrigan (Phantom Queen).

As somebody else stated the above quote is from the Living Dead series, but to be more exact it is in the "Return of the Living Dead" series. The zombies in the actual Living Dead series, I don't believe that they speak. Just a lot of moans and groans.
And incase you have never watched it, "The Return of the Living Dead", is sort of a comedy, with zombies thrown in. At least with my twisted sense of humor I find them funny, especially the first one.

was it the return of the living dead? I remember a movie... it might of been a parody... but this one girls boyfriend dies and becomes a zombie then starts to tell her ( after she goes in the attic) " I knoe you're in there *name of girl*, I can smell your BRAINS!!!!!!" it was funny and all the other zombies are aying... " Brains, Brains!"
