Since you can't really bump a news post, I wanted to start a forum thread about it. We are still looking over applications for the Staff positions. So you still have time to get one in if you are intrested in making this site even better.

Yeah people come on I really wanna see maps and some of the other info here on this site that is incomplete. This is my new favorite site and I hate goin to others to look up my info. Besides this is the only 1 that didn't screw up my account so I can't post in forums. THANK YOU Gameamp!! So hurry up and get those applications in heroes.

Anything in particular you're looking for? guides to some Shard TFs? (If you say 'go map the shard zones' i will hurt you ) :D
i might be convinced to run one of the shard TFs on a weekend to get the walkthrough for the site.

I actually ran one of the Shard TFs a while back. The issue is that they're sooooooo long that it's hard to care about the write-up after the first 3 or 4 hours.
Summoned, if there's particular information that you want to see, you have to tell someone, bubba. This site is run by volunteers that spend all of their off time trying to make it as great as they can. If there's something that you would like to see more of, then steer them in that direction. It will allow them to pinpoint the areas that they need to concentrate on to keep the members happy.

Mapping the shard is probably the silliest thing to do :) you HAVE to have fly or teleport, but even at that, teleport could run out of end halfway through, so Fly is probably the way to go.
I'd do it, assuming DC Zapper ever hits 42 so i can use his reserved respec..

Quarterfield. I would like them all, but in the order that you can do them would be best I think.
And for anyone wanting to do a TF write up, please be sure to check out the TF Page for the lay out and info that we need to get them up. And if possible get pictues of the contact that gives the TF and the big mean guy at the end.
As for maping the shard, we have been working on that for a while. But it is a HUGE task, and well it is going to take some time.

Well if smoeone was really bored, they could get me links to the powers that are incorrect on the site. It would have to be a nice neat ordered list so I could find them easily (there are a lot of powers!). And if you noticed any that were still incomplete.
Oh, and if anyone wanted to clear the Zulu zone maps *grin*

Well right now we have 3 active staff. There are a few away due to personal reasons (aka RL getting in the way). And honestly 3 is just not enough.

Unfortunately, i don't see Zapper hitting 40 in 2 days :D
Quarterfield is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 9 at 1 pm est, on Victory. Hopefully, i'll be able to pm the guide to you, jeni, that night.. or Sunday morning, depending on how long Posi's revenge (aka Quarterfield) takes.

I would apply to help our but as a college freshman I'm very nervous about taking on more responsibilities. While I probably do spend that much time browsing the site every day I wouldnt want to make a commitment and disappoint the community by not being able to meet expectations.

I'd be willing to give you a half hour a day, but two hours a day is just a bit much. Maybe get more people on staff, with less time required and that would work. I really don't want to commit to two hours a day, that's just to much for me right now. But like I said, I'd be willing to help out a half hour a day.

And this is the problem we are having right now. Honestly if you can commit only 1/2 hour a day, we won't be adding you. We need people who have the time to get the site updated and taken care of. There is a lot of work that needs done, and half an hour a day isn't going to get it done.

The time of day doesn't matter. It's probably pretty useful to have someone working the night shift because that way the submissions can get whittled down a bit. However, you have to make it through Jeni's application review, blood test, rectal exam, and grueling paint by the numbers initiation. Doom to those who apply...DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! :P
