Just curious, seeing how I am still discovering new areas since I have owned the game for only 2 weeks, but what is everyone's favorite zone and why?
Any zones that a lvl 20 and under should definetly visit?

Talos Island. Its a great 20's hunting zone. A great place to get some go XP when close to leveling. Plus all the stores are nearby to sell off unuseful enhancements.

I gotta admit that Talos is my fave also, plus it's the gateway to Founders Falls and Dark Astoria, so u'll be heading there eventually. Talos is the best place to sell all those DO's and SO's when they start dropping, as was mentioned all the stores are nice n close. For the lower lvls, I kinda like Steel Canyon, and Skyway (although a bitch to navigate sometimes) is a pretty good hunting ground up to 18-19.
I guess I'm back then... :)

Theres always Box Hunting out in Boomtown. Found that to be a great way to level a few times for those higher contacts. I lived in Talos for awhile now. Great spot to hunt many different meanies!

i wouldn't say Talos is my fav, it is the one i use most (for selling) but i never really hunted there. I really loved IP myself. for lower levels i used to hunt around where the tram is and when i was getting higher i would head down to the south side and kick some family butt. but when i was a baby superhero, Perez Park was the place for me... lvl 7-12 i would get into a street hunting team and hit the highways (the two buildings on the north cornors were the greatest b/c you could just do circles around them and by the time you reached the place you begain it had respawned) then lvl 12-15 i would hunt the cute cuddlies (hydras in case you havent' seen them) at the lake.
Right now though i would say Founders Falls is my fav zone (i'm lvl 37)... hunting the CoT there is great, espically the ones that have hostages (mega inf for saving them). The groups aren't too big for me to solo and there are plenty of them to go around (just keep your eye out for those pesky snipers).

"I love hunting in IP moreso than Talos because of the large presence of 5th Column. I hate those nazi freaks. I can't wait for the 3rd episode when those dorks are finally gone. I wanna kill each and every one of the mo-fo's! That said, I have the largest hatred of anything for those family goons! I swear, those family dum-dums have K-O'ed me more than anyone else, and I love stickin it to them!"

Umm, while I loved IP too when I was level 23+, the question was what are our favorite zones for level 20 and lower. You guys listed zones for level 20 and higher :P
I did most of my low level hunting in the regular city zones, so the streets and rooftops of Steel Canyon and Skyway City. I pretty much only did the hazard zones with groups, when someone else suggested it. I also did a lot of missions, because for my style of playing, they are good xp.
Rate other people's posts to give them feedback. I will frequently rate the first post of a new topic at least a 3, because that person is keeping the forums busy. I also will rate posts on how helpful they were to me, or how helpful I deem them to others. Please rate my posts to let me know if they have been useful to you.

Well partied for the first time in Kings Row last night. It was fun seeing mutated people to fight instead of the typical gang people. :) I started to browse the maps on here, and there are so many different zones that I didn't even know of. Man, wish I didn't have to work so I could play more. :) That, and I wish I didn't get new costume/character ideas by lvl 14 and want to create them. heh
Thanks for all the input everyone. :)

if you are still low lvl (under 18) the hollows is a GREAT place for xp as long as you have a team... just street sweeping there (along the wall by the atlas park entrance) is really great.... just make sure you have a team (they are not hard to find there)

I love IP for hunting as well especially for around lvl 20. Dark Astoria is great as well except for the fog and flying into buildings that peeves me a little bit.

I agree with all the above but there are four zones notorious for the Lag (Lag is the Level 60 Clockwork monster that lives in the Game servers.)no matter what server your on. Kings row, Talos Island, Brickstown, and Pregrine Island. Just something to concider if you find losing connection to mapserver not to be enjoyable.
A couple things I'd recommend is checking out the Sewer network or doing a Task force. The game info section has alot of usefull information about these. Both require teaming up with people, and the task force will take about three to four hours.
At for my favorite zones right now its Creys folley, Im still trying to get my dang crey pistol, and my alltime favorite zone is Terra volta. Its where I first met my good friends the Skyraiders. (see the video section)

I would say Skyway... with a complete team.... esp. during levels 15-19, I fought there with a team and it was great xp and really fast... we were fighting lost... They were purle to us yet still easy to do...
But I do also like talos a it does have a more conveniant environment... still want some water enemies though... the sea is real boring!

Mine so far would have to be Croatoa. With all the ghosts, witches, gnomes, and weird deer/swamp-monster looking creatures, I feel right at home. Also, every day feels like halloween with the pumpkins everywhere. I see myself spending a lot more time there in the not-so-distant future. I'm contemplating even renting a condo there.

Croatoa is a close second. The story arcs of Croatoa are the best in the game. And it is definately the place to be for a level 25 to level 30 hero.
But my favourite zone is Dark Astoria. It is just so beautifully creepy. The ghost that disappear when you get close, the noices of still invisible dry husks, and the pure serinity of the grave yard. I love it! Too bad there is no story arc there. Just a few random missions.

As level 1, straight away!
You should see the center of Founders' Falls, the safest way to get there is through Kings Row and Pocket D.
When coming through Pocket D you'll enter the zone right in the center where I mean, turn right and walk the fabulous path... :-D
Water to your left and a nice straight path ahead, CoT mages and Behemoths here and there and arcs over the path, supporting the bridges over your head.
It's a remarkable place and it definitely stands out from all others.
You best be there the way I was though.
As a level 50's SK. ;-)
The enemies are level 37 and the Behemoths can see right through Stealth.

I agree...Croatoa is definitely the most interesting zone out there.
If you find any available condo there, let me know.

seriously! i started reading the first few posts then i saw the third or fourth post about the 5th column and was like wtf is this guy talking about then i looked at the dates and realized how old it was and i remember blackphoenix sometimes digs up old threads and revives them and i just realized this is one entirely too long run on sentence so i'm going to stop now have a nice day and peace one home slice.

Yeah, thread necromancy is a bit of a hobby of mine.
Besides, why should I start a new thread just like it when there's this perfectly good corpse of a thread to use right here?

I didn't realize that it was an old thread until I saw Jeni mention that she was a level 37. Of course, I was a little confused by the first post. Jeremy has 126 posts and 276 points of credibility, and he mentions that he's only had the game for 2 weeks. I was pretty impressed until I pulled my head out. :P

Old or not, I'd like to say that Croatoa is easily the best.
Best stories, Very tightly contained (minimal travel), coolest missions (a tuatha mission that went from a cave to a sewer (very creative)), the enemies that fight each other actually KILL each other instead of just pretending to, 3 different monsters, a bunch of badges, and an accolade all in one neat little package.

well, since we are on the subject, the Shadow Shard is my favorite zone. i hate the bad guys, but no other zone can compare to it via coolness factor. waterfalls of blood?! croatoa has nothing on that, or the chantry. i havent gone to the storm palace yet, but when i do, im sure itll be super cool

Man I sounded like a noob back then. Sheesh, who let me post on this site was crazzzzzzy!
This title is misleading though....it should be Good Zones for Level 20s. Talos is still one of my favorite zones. FF is pretty cool and I do like Striga but been able to do much there since my main was too high upon release. Croatoa feels like Perez Park with a larger lake and contacts. I definitely feel that they should of revitalized some of the zones that are underused. Perez Parks mayhem has been moved to Hollows, when I started playing PP was crazy crowded. Now its a hunting dream. Faultline and Boomtown need love...when will they get lovinnnnnnnnn? Ok sorry got off tangent.
