We are very interested in feedback from you, our customers, about the final implementation of Veteran Rewards and the supporting management system on PlayNC.com. As always, we strive to deliver only quality, bug free updates to the game and input about your experiences on our Training Room Test Server is an important part of achieving that goal. Please visit your account’s PlayNC management page, and try out Veteran Rewards and Issue 8 and then visit the discussion and question and answer threads and post your input. You can find links to these threads and other information below.
Adding the supporting systems to PlayNC.com and Veteran Rewards to the Training Room is the last major step toward finalizing Issue 8 to move to the Live servers. Barring any major issues that come up from play testing, we plan to bring Issue 8 to the live servers with enough lead time so that we will be in a good position to make any adjustments to it prior to the US Thanksgiving holiday (Nov. 23rd). After all, more than a few of us are looking forward to playing Issue 8: To Protect and Serve over the holiday! |

Woohoo! Make that news for the site! Great to hear!
BTW, got on test and my vet awards were up to 21! Im Steadfast. Was hoping for the portal one but its cool.
Even further add you can currently check what your Vet rewards will be and what they will be for future. For instance it states that I will get 24mo on Nov 13 2006. Very cool to see that, if you log into you PlayNC account just click Account Details for CoH/CoV and it displays it for you.

I checked them out on test. Wings look REALLY cool, but the Icon in Steel Canyon was WAY overrun with Winged and Trenchcoat Wearing heroes...
Cool thing about the wings, they ARE color customizable. So you don't have to have White angel wings...

The samurai armors look very cool, especially the look you can get with the helmet. And I did make a trenchcoat variant of Blackhawk, post a pic in screenshots. He looks like a 30 or 40 detective.
And yeah, much like Ron said there are a bevy of winged and trenchcoat heroes. And even some samurai armor wing heroes.

after I get home I'll make the samurai/kilt/greekletter/wings hero everyone is waiting to see...
I also posted a screenie of the cool wings animation you see while in the costume creator.

I logged onto test for a bit yesterday afternoon. The wings are very cool!
I had a problem with my respecs, though, and maybe somebody can help me out. I received 21 months-worth of Vet Rewards, which gave me 2 freespecs. I clicked on both of them and the respecs were deposited into my account. I then went to visit Jack Wolfe, and went through the whole respec process with no problem. At the end, though, I keep getting the message, "Respec Failed." I've tried it several times, even tried logging off/on and still am getting the same message. The message at login tells me I have 2 respecs remaining. I bugged it, but does anyone know if I am doing something wrong here?

Maybe instead of talking to go ol'Jack, try just typing /respec. That probably isnt the answer but it would be worth the try. I say this because its not an official earned "respec" from trials and such.
Hope it works if you try it out.

Nope, that was the first thing I tried before going to see Jack. I got the usual message saying I didn't have any free respecs remaining and I needed to see Jack Wolfe in GC to use any earned respecs. I think Jack is the normal route for these Vet Reward respecs judging from the 50 or so heroes surrounding Jack on test yesterday.

The training room boards are reporting this as a probable bug that will need to be fixed.
Seems like the way to go is claim one, respec, then claim the second...

How did you get a list of when you would get addtional rewards. :( I only get what I have been rewarded so far.

This is what I mean grifter. Mine only shows the first two rewards. It does not show upcoming and when I will get them and what date.

Only thing I can suggest for that is to see when you next Vet Award comes along then count out 3 months from there. If you get something next week then your following would come Feb in the 2nd or 3rd week roughly.
I doubt they will have it where you can see your next Vet Awards and what dates. Probably what you see is what you get. Your next schedule one unfortunately.
