Question

As I think about/make all my future characters up in the hero/villain planner, I can't help but wonder about Stalker. I know there's a good chance that I'm missing something about them, so tell me if I'm wrong in this assumption:
Are Stalkers sort of a weaker Brute with scrapper-ish powers and their Assassin's move? Or do they offer something else that I seem to be missing?

I'd like to give them a chance but if the only real thing going for them is their Assassin's move then I'll just stick to Brutes and let other people be the Stalkers.

RE: Question

You may want to ask that question on the CoV side, I know its all the same game but there are members there that will answer only CoV questions that may never come over to this site.

Im sure people will answer you here because a great majority of us play CoV too but to be safe you may to add ask that question there too.

Stalkers die ABOUT as fast as a blaster, there attacks are super strong while hiddden but not very effective outside, anyways you got to be patient if you make that type of character.

RE: Question

Stalkers are a hit and run class. Imagine a Scrapper with the hit points of a Blaster. If you stand toe to toe for long you are dead. So you stealth in, assassin strike, then run like hell. Stalkers are a lot of fun to play. I recommend trying them out.

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

RE: Question

Ok, so it is what I thought then.
Well, no offense to fans of Stalkers or anything, but that doesn't sound like my cup of tea, really. I prefer just being able to do what I need to do without having to run out of range all the time.
While I don't doubt the merit of the job itself, I'll just leave that for others to play. XP

RE: Question

If you're solo, a stalker can scrap it out fairly easily. Unless you run into a boss, then you'll be doing the hit/run or be popping some inspirations. Teaming gets a little dangerous because the mob crowd is bigger and the potential to draw too much aggro is very high. You really need to pick your moments carefully when teaming.
