The storm clouds in the Outrealms gather. The demon sorcerer, Gai Dao, has challenged the gods of light to a tournament which will decide the fate of our uiverse for the next millenia. The demons are represented by the fierce Onikage, champion of ten million battles. The gods do not know which warrior from Earth can stand against this monster, and must find out which one is the most powerful. They have gathered at the conflux of the ten dimensions, Training Room, in order to see which hero is worthy of bearing the title "Savior of the Universe". Are you brave enough to accept their challenge and face off against your peers to proove your might? Will you have the courage to face Onikage one-on-one?

RULES:
1) Open to all members of Gameamp.com
2) Only one (1) hero per member
3) All matches will be set up by myself
4) All matches will be run on one night
5) All matches will be on the Test Server
6) Contestants will auto-exemplar down to the weakest fighter's weight class
PRIZES:
1) Grand Prize: 200 Credibility and a personalized tale of your epic victory over the demon Onikage
2) Second Prize: 100 Cedibility and a secondary role in the story

How to get on the Test Server
Character Copy Tool
These pages should help you get your character onto the Training Room. If not, just post any specific problems you have, and somebody should be able to answer your question.
Now, about your second question. If enough people want to, I can structure the tournament around team battles. However, this requires more heroes than a 1 v. 1 competition. Still, I'd love to see heroic duos duking it out...

Count Thermablaze (lev 31 fire/fire blaster) in! Darkpool might as well keep his sword sheathed...
How are you going to be able to set this up when it is so hard to predict when the arena will actually be up and running? I have been on test a few times, and haven't even been able to observe PVP, much less play...

True. If a Gameamp staff member *cough*linkmaxwell*cough* happens to win the tournament, the next regular member will be declared the winner. We just get bragging rights... :D

Tournament Update!
Ok, with the Arena server going up and down like a yo-yo, I'm going to have to wait for the developers to get it all patched up. The massive PCC fight is scheduled for this Thursday, so things are looking like Friday, April 22, might be a good day to do it.

I'd be happy to join, but my hero is only lvl 12, as stated below. Without a team to SK me, I fear I couldn't stand a chance against most of these heroes!

Saph maybe since they are live we and everyone has had a chance to expierence them we can re-organize. But we would need to set some rules like; minimal level to participate, also would we do this on Test or a Live server? Not everyone shares servers so Test would be logical! Lets see who shares interest in the next couple of days and go from there.

I'd be interested in doing it with either Shyvver or the Onion. They're 18th and 16th level respectively at the moment.
So...
Hero Name - Shyvver
Level - 18th
Powers - Ice/Ice Blaster
Server - Triumph
Time can Participate - Wednesday after 8:30pm or Weekend days.
If you have access to Test Server - Yuppers.
I also think that if enough people want to participate, we should do 2v2 or 3v3 team events as well. Unfortunately Solo events are very off balance in the arena.

Once in a while somebody adds a post to this thred, but I don't think there has ever been a GameAmp tournament. And I doubt there is one in the making. But if you can gather enough people that will add to this thread maybe it will kick off.

well I think this never happened because people were complaining about it being on test. Some people didn't want to have it there, thought their own servers outta host, but that makes it hard for propl to bring their main characters... which is why it never happened. We could never agree on where to have it, when to hold it.... and quite frankly now after having a bout with Sapph in the arena post I5 I'm pretty much useless. I couldn't lock anyone down, and as a controller that's just pathetic.
