So ive gotten my Spine/WP scrapper to 20 (thank you double xp weekend) and ive come to a crossroad. Do i go res or do I go regen. my two options are to take the fighting set and get tough which will add to the survivability against L/S. Or i can go with the fitness set, health/stamina. I already have Quick recover so end is not THAT big of a deal. but i could use the additional regeneration. Overall i am very impressed with the will power set and complimented with spine's AoEs its killer. So if anyone has any input on WP or Spine/Wp feel free to add it here.

I myself just started a spine/WP and got him to 16 this weekend. I personally am going the regen route. I have a spine/inv and a ma/regen and the regen toon far outpaces the resist toon. I know its two different worlds, but its pace that matters to me here and therefore stamina is a must for me. My build doesn't leave room for the fighting pool so I will likely be relying on my toggles and strength of will. Of course SoW does have a recovery boost as well, but unfortunately you cannot turn down the recharge of it so I don't want to have to count on that for end consumption. Bottom line, I don't want to have to restrict my attack speed, so hasten + better recovery = more dead bad guys, faster. That is my secondary defense... a good offense.

It would certainly give you a greater resistance to smashing/lethal dmg and it would always be available. But as for energy/fire/ice/dark/psi/etc it would not help. There is a bit of trade off here but I suppose it just comes down to what you plan on doing. I'm mostly looking for a farming toon that would be fun and fast paced, but I've factored in the medicine pool as willpower does not have a heal. With Rise to the challenge' you have a great to hit debuff and that complements interuptable powers like aid self fairly well, so thats always an option too.

ok, i am too looking for a fast pace killer. im focused on just killing the mob and living to tell the story to my grandkids. So i guess ill pickup Health/Fast Healing/RttC and if those are not enough ill swing by the Medicine pool and pick up aid self. man i cant wait. thanks for the imput!

No prob, glad to help. Your best bet is going to be to look for a fairly decent sized group and go to town with your AoE's as RttC has regen bonus for up to 10 enemies... thats a lot of regen. I've actually had my 28 WP tank do some tanking on a lvl 50 team with no problems whatsoever. Pretty good set for sure.
