Beginning at 3:00PM PST (6:00 PM EST) on the Training Room, and repeating for the next 3 hours, we will present the wedding ceremony live. We invite anyone who is interested to come out and partake in the festivities! However, please keep in mind that each presentation of the ceremony will only accommodate approximately one hundred participants. Gaining access to the wedding event will be simply the luck of the draw for those in the zone when it begins. Heroes and Villains, look for the ushers in Atlas Park and Mercy Island™ (there is one usher in each zone). |
This seems pretty interesting to me. I would like to challenge all ampers to try and get into this and get some screenies.
I'm curious to see how they will make this all look. Will it be formal, will your toon have to stand there or sit, or is it going to be a free for all with characters hovering all around the ceremony? Who's gonna get lucky and get on that short list of attendees? Most inportantly, who can get some good screenies?
Some one help satisfy my curiosity.

It is at 12am for me, so I will be missing it. Therefore I really like your suggestion for a contest, and see if there is an Amper with brilliant photo genetic eye.
Also, I am such a softie for romance, goodies and dressses. So I coughed up the $10 and got me my own wedding gown. I just needed to buy it for the simple reason I need everything COH and COV. Maybe the dress will be looking stunning in different colours as well. Screenshots will be commencing soon :)

Mantid's Emote Guide already has the wedding pack emotes. (That was quick.)
As for the costume pack, at first I was against paying money for a few extra costumes. But one of my characters is a model and might look really good in one of the dresses. So I'm looking forward to Phedre's screenshots.
And I definitely want screenshots of the wedding...if I can't get in myself!
I'm too lazy to keep up with my own altoholism. Abana is my "main" right now as I'm going for my first level 50, but as for my creations here's a short list:
Abana (hero, Champion), lvl 50 mag tanker, stone/stone/fit
Etain Echraide (hero, Virtue), lvl 21 mag controller, plant/therm
One Man Vs. The Mob (hero, Virtue), lvl 11 sci blaster, nrg/nrg/fly/stealth
Ballplayer Reverend (hero, Champion), lvl 19 nat tanker, will/mace/speed
Dr. Arjun Girish (hero, Virtue), lvl 6 nat controller, mind/kin
Aulay Marwaring (hero, Champion), lvl 5 mut blaster, ar/mm
Ashmorah (hero, Champion), lvl 4 warshade

Just in case the screenie disappears into the depths let me post a link to it HERE. I probably should make some of the emotes too. The tuxedo goes too far though.
Personally I don't think it is worth the $9.99. A few quickly made new costume pieces that are still buggy since you can't color them proper and 3 emotes don't really warrant that kind of money. I was really hoping for a long dress. I could have made some great toons with that. Bascially all you get is a new pattern on existing items, and a veil. But I am still glad I got it :)

I've decided against getting the pack. Abana paid the tailor in Steel Canyon a visit, and now she has a nice "little red dress" that should turn heads, but looks classy enough for this event.

Not sure if these are part of the Valentine / Bridal set, but I saw these first on another toon yesterday and at the Tailor today after getting the Bridal pack:
Oh, they're called Angel Plus, Excess Plus and Heart Plus and there's leg pieces too.

Whoever actually gets in deserves a medal. I'm still trying to get in. People mob up in front of the usher, Castle pushes everyone into a line then we fall back into an angry mob. I've been in mosh pits that were less hectic than the mob around the usher.
