Hi everybody!!!
i wanted to say HI
im new to the whole gameamp thingy, but i have played CoH/CoV
for 2 months. But that was 2 years ago so i started an new char in the union server and trying to figure things out and stuff :p
My character is an Lv 11 Blaster. I choose the fire set 2 times.
I really like the attacks that attack an whole group at the same time like Rain of Fire and that fire blast that hits everyone around them.
uhm well maybe im going to create a villian, i mean, i dont bought the game for nothing :p
but maybe i must go on with 1 character and not start all over everytime.
I've Heared from Hijaru that Gameamp is a great site and he always showed me great stuff on the GW.GA :D

Why wellcome to the site!
Alwise nice to see some new faces!
I have alwise liked fire-blaster for the same things (ROF FB and all the other aoe's.)
But if you ever need help with a build or anything else don't wait just give us a shout.
I'm not a altoholic...no really i only have 1000+ toons...thats not..really...never mind.

Woohoo! Another Dutchman on the GameAmp forums. Welcome A-C-X! This is indeed a great place to be. Almost as much fun as cityofvillains.gameamp.com. But we (the villains) have cookies. So be sure to stop by there as well. And of course create some villains while you are on it :)

Heroes have cookies, too. They are baked fresh daily with love by someone's sweet, little old grandmother. The villain's cookies are stolen from the day-old discount rack. And that's not cinnamon you see in the snickerdoodles -- its MOLD!

well im going to train my hero first.
because ill freak out if i have to train more then 1 character XD
and i see there is a real war between heroes and villians o.o

Yeah, Phe's Dutch originally. Don't hold it against her though. Not like she had a choice about that. I doubt there's a US server left that she doesn't have an account on, but she's mostly on Triumph, Protector and Virtue I think. Joining the in-game gameamp.com channel is the best way to keep track of us Altaholics :-)

Well, I can only spek for myself. I did it because Phe's on the US servers. Her excuse is probably that she lived there for a while. Another incentive might be that $14,99 is less than EUR 14,99 in Sub-fee :-)
As to how, go buy the non-EU version online at direct2drive.com conveniently linked at the top of this page.

Ok, well i hope there are some people on the EU version. Because for now ill stay on the eu. But its not 14,99 but 12,99 euro.
Is everybody here on the US? that would be a shame XD, i will never meet you guys in game then.

I use US servers because its much more crowded and so easyer to find a team.
and how, on the play nc site you can download a coh updater. its under the download client button. your EU game is now a US game :)

How to join the Gameamp.com ingame channel
Oh, and EU and US both have different authentication serversso DLing the US client is only useful if you have a US account, either paid for or freebie trial.

but at the help center of plaync i saw questions about changing from US to EU, so maybe it is possible.
Well for now i have a great time in EU, so to bad for gameamp :(
one day maybe when i have a trial ;)

That transfer option has to do with CoH only existing as an US game when it got started. They had a lot of EU players on the US servers for a while as a result and provided a transfer to EU service for them when they opened up the EU servers.
The other way around EU > US has never been an option.

So im almost level 20, so i would like to ask something
What shall i choose as my next power when i reach lv 20.
I was thinkin of stealth that would be really nice in PvP.

I'd advise you take either Aim or Build Up, to help with your damage output.
Also, working in Stamina from the Fitness pool could help relieve downtime woes. Just some friendly advise. =D

i say fire breath. then do the respec trial ASAP to re-do your powers, getting rid of one of your travel powers, replacing them with 2 fitness powers, then putting stamina in anywhere from 20-24

but you know, i want speed and superjump :(
well i just get rid of speed and then ill get rid of flurry and replace for hasten.
I still have the jump pack for 2 hours and otherwise ill just get a new one.
Then i will get a lot of those Aim and build op and other stamina/endurance stuff.
Because i hate when im tired! and i alreeady have enough powerfull attacks.
again, thnx for all the advice, if you guys have any comments on my strategy, please tell, because all help is welcome!

Certain players here, myself being one of them, have a problem. It's shared by a large percentage of the Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game community. That problem is, Altitis. It's a disease, some think it's genetic, others think it's behavioral, however no one can deny that it IS a disease.
There's no cure.
There's no treatment.
There's only...giving into your addiction and making more and more characters until all the slots on all the servers are full.
Thankfully it's not fatal.

oh god i only put up the ones that i have played recently or are on my home server. it really is a problem, as is often pointed out by W.P....
