City of Heroes Pick a primary, please! Screenshot

ok so I decided to make this character, Crimson-Dervish, and I haven't decided on a primary for her secondary, Super Reflexes. I have narrowed it down to either Claws or Martial Arts. Please help!

Off Topic: Swiss, You are a Loon!

On Topic: Claws. By far not my favorite set in the game. But of the two choices to go with SR, Claws it is. Claws is very endurance light, with solid mitigation. SR will increase its DPS, and you will have less endurance issues than if you went with MA. That said, MA and SR do go together well thematically, and the animations combine pleasantly.

My vote is still Claws, though.

When I hear dervish, I think of the Tazmanian devil from the good ole Looney toons. So my vote is Claws.

ok, even though the claws look like they wouldnt fit into her whole arm, let alone her forearm, i think im going to go with claws, because of the Spin move being very dervish-like and they are end-light. thanks for the input!

MA, she doesn't look like she uses claws... has long legs perfect for clicking. Plus her hands are shown wouldn't want to see the blood from the claws.

I went for the Dark Melee because of the numbers game. SR gives great defense bonuses. Add in the ToHit Debuff of the Dark Melee powers and you won't be getting hit anytime soon.

claws isnt endurance light , i had regen andi still had endurance problems with claws. its the only one i had endurance problems with!

Don't know how you had it slotted, but just about every attack in claws has a lower endurance cost compared to a comparable power in another set. They also tend to have significantly lower recharge times. Nasazi has a Claws/Regen and only gets end issues when Hasten is active. And even then, its not a major issue. My Spine/Regen would end drain through both QR and Stam (3 slotted SOs) with or without hasten.

MA, just cuz the animations are cooler and they seem to deal more damage, BUT if the options were more vast go with BS/DAut cuz i teamed with one and she tanked tyrant.

P.S. WOOT at swiss for empathy!!
