This is my take on the costume of Rogue from X-Men. It's circa 1980s-90s, and has only changed a little nowadays. She is the dark melee/WP/flight scrapper thats causing all of this hullabaloo.

I don't think they Generi-hero unless the name is copyrighted, but that's to the best of my knowledge...

Actually, you can be generic'd based on your costume. I had a friend who's character was named Gorbatron, yet looked exactly like Wolverine. Suffice to say his costume was quickly generic'd and he got into a bit of trouble over the issue. Hopefully this doesn't happen to Dose. =D

Yes. Marvel and other fantasy and comic companies own the names and associated looks in a way that any attempt to copy and write of those names associated with those looks or in CoH powers will get in trouble. IE a clas regen looking like wolverine, but spelled differently. To minimize lawsuits and as apart of the settlement, to the best of my knowledge, NCsoft and Crpitic made a deal to change any such character to a random generic style if reported.

However, IMO, what happens in paragon has no relation to Marvel or others and as such, coincidental similarities have no standing. But law says otherwise.

I don't think yours should fall intothis category, DM+Will is nothing like what Rogue ever acomplishes, or could. You should be safe, but ther is that chance...

That is perhaps the best rogue clone i've ever seen in this game. Very good attention to detail, and great look. On another server I made early -mid 80's version of her as a peacebringer (named her rogue starbolt)in her black and green spandex (always loved that look on her) I have to say though, mine didnt look as good as yours.

yeah, i was having trouble remembering the details, then was like, duh, and printed out a picture for reference. she is leveling pretty quickly, and should be level 20 soon enough that i can give her a second, non-ripoff costume.
