So you just saw something in the game and would love it to end up on Gameamp.com huh? Well here are a few easy steps to getting the screenshot you want onto the site.
Step 1
Taking the Screenshot
Taking screenshots is very simple. To take a screenshot all you have to do is press the Print Screen button on the keyboard. This will take a screenshot of just the essentials, your power trays, chat box, target, etc. will not be included. (See Fig 1). If you would like to have these included you have two options.

Option A:
Simply type in /screenshotui 1 in the chat box and snap away! When you want it to go back to just the basics type in /screenshotui 0.
Option B:
For a more permanent solution follow these following steps.
Menu
Options
Keymapping
Scroll down to Other
Find where it says Toggle Screenshot UI (4th bind choice down)
Click where it says Not Set, this will allow you to bind any key to it.
Press the key you would like to bind to. I usually select Scroll Lock because it is right next to Print Screen and you can see if it is on.
Click on Save and Close Window (note this will only affect the Hero you are playing. For other Heroes to have this bind you will need to repeat the steps for them.)
After selecting this bind the extras will not be on. You will need to press Scroll Lock again to have them appear in the screenshot.

Ok, so now you know how to toggle a Screenshot’s UI but how do I take a shot of the front of my hero? This is very simple and can be done two ways.
Option A:
Hold down the scroll wheel on your mouse and spin the camera to face your hero.
Option B:
Using the Page Up button you can spin the camera to face your hero.
**Note** Press the Page Down button to return the camera to the normal position.
Step 2
Finding the Screenshot
Ok, you just took your first few screenshots but where did they go? Follow these few steps to find your screenshot.
Start
My Computer
Local Disk (C:)
Program Files
City of Heroes
Screenshots
Now you can see your screenshots!!! Make sure to rename any that you want to submit or find again because they are difficult to sort through unnamed.
Step 3
Submitting the Screenshot
Ok, you have your screenshot and you want to submit it to Gameamp for that precious 10 credibility. Doing this is very simple. On the left side of the screen find the speech bubble with the title MEDIA. The link for CoH Screenshots is the first option. Click on the link. In the upper-right corner there is a link entitled SUBMIT SCREENSHOT, click on it. Now you are ready to submit that screenshot. Give it a name and a comical caption. Click on Browse. Now you need to locate the screenshot again using the same steps as when you renamed it. Select your shot and click Open. Now hit Submit Screenshot and you are all done!! You should now see this message:

The GameAmp staff and members thank your for your submission. Please remember that this must first be approved by an administrator or manager before it will be posted and credibility will be awarded. If you have still not received credit for this post after 72 hours and it is not showing up in your history, then please send a private message to one of your site administrators or your manager and they will get back to you as soon as possible.
