Hey guys, We all know the the battle dome is soon coming up so i will let you know how you can make out on top with a blaster. Since scrappers rain supreme out of all the archtypes in the battledome many have wondered how to beat them because of there Moments of Glory and their Unstopables. Well there is one thing that Blaster have alot of and that is ACCURACY. A good build to use is an ICE/EN cause 1 ice slows and deals good damage and 2 energy is home to alot of buffs.
What you first want to do with any blaster is not get any aoe attacks cause your not going to be killing muliple guys in the battledome so stay with the single target attacks. You also want to six slot them with not only power, but accuracy. Since Energy Manipulation has so many buffs the you might want to use some of you extra power slots to get them. BUILD UP is a must get for any blaster, also get AIM and CONSERVE POWER. Now when it comes to pools. This is where you should take notes. First thing YOU MUST HAVE STAMINA! 6 slot it with end recovery, next is you must have Combat Jump, Super Jump, and Acrobatics this will give you extra speed, defence, and more resistants to holds. Next is Stealth, Invisability, and Phase shift to add extra defence when need to run or recharge. Phase shift costs alot of end so beware. Next is Hasten YOU MUST GET HASTEN! And make it permable, this will make you have more defence and have a great recharge speed on attacks. YOu want to 6 slot this so it recharges really fast for next time use. Once 6 slotted put it on autoattack and leave it.
Well that does it for normal power pools but what about the Epics. Well this is the fun part, the epic pool you want to get is force mastery. I have never tried repulsion shield but if it works go ahead and use it. What you want to do now is get TEMP INVUNERABILTY and FORCE OF NATURE. FORCE OF NATURE is like unstopabble for blaster but be warned it will leave you drained.
Now here comes the slotting, but ill leave you to decide this but ill give you some suggestions. What i did was 6 slot conserve power to where its almost permable, for end purposes. I also 6 slotted all of my attacks. You want to also is slot AIM for accuracy along with BUILD UP so you can shoot thru enemy defences, cause once you able to shoot thru defence you got the match made.
This build takes along time to get used to and very hard to use in normal combat or for powerleveling. Its best at Battledome. I have used this before and killed mamy scrappers and controllers with this combo it works for me, it just takes time for you to get used to and to bring down your enemy, but by all means this combo makes me better then i ever was in the battledome with a blaster
