Our duties as heroes can be a daunting task; saving lives, repelling villain attacks, and standing up against any threat that faces Paragon City. Being a hero can be a one of the hardest occupations; everyday is filled with something new and thrilling, never knowing what to expect minute to minute. As time progresses you begin to wonder what possibly could happen now. And at this moment you have that answer.
Of lately villains seem to be growing stronger and more daring, pushing out of their boundaries of the Rogue Isles and stepping foot into Paragon City. The Paragon Police Department is inundated with calls of theft, kidnapping, destruction, and pure mayhem brought on by these rogues. The PPD is asking for our help, as heroes we are going to step in and assist the PPD in ending the rampant chaos on the fair city. From security level 6 to 50 all heroes are needed to do their part in helping. And those of the strongest morals will be asked to perform Safeguard missions to thwart would-be bank robbers. If we don’t put a stop these action then there is no telling how bad the consequence could be. Be sure to seek out your closest zone detective to find out how you may help.
While assisting the PPD in their efforts against these new threats some significant progress has occurred in a Paragon City suburb. Once a devastated zone from the Rikti Invasion, Faultline is now in a revitalization process to restore it back to what it once was. Through the Measure X initiative construction crews, PPD, Freedom Corp, and a slew of others have taken to the neighborhood and started work on making the area livable again. Currently only part of the zone is safe for residence to return to but soon this once hazardous area will once again be teeming with life from the citizens of Paragon City. Heroes are being invited to stop by the region and check out the progress. Maybe even have a donut or too with the locals. The area is still very dangerous and all are asked to be vigilant of any nefarious activities. It has been said that many new villain groups have moved in, while others vacated. Look for Arachnos and Sky Raider activity, as well as the Vahziloks and Clockworks.
While we are stepping up and help the city against the latest terrorization. We are also being rewarded for all our months and years of hero service. Veteran Rewards are being given to heroes (and unfortunately villains) for each 3 months of duty they have provided; everything from badges, new permanent temporary powers, exclusive costume pieces, base items, and much more. Some of the latest costume items we can receive from the VR Program range from wings (angel and demons), trench coats, samurai armor, and various new emblems. So please enjoy these new additions for your service but please remember as heroes we still have a job to do. While you’re flaunting your new wings be sure to be on the look out for any villains that may be up to no good. It is our duty, To Protect and Serve.
