Only a few days after the much-awaited Issue 8, The Christmas event has been put onto test for the first weekend of December.
Simply for logging in, players will recieve;
Part One
The Costume peice, 'Earmuffs' for the Character being logged into.
The Holiday Spirit Temporary Power: This power will grant you 24 hours of debt protection. It is a one use power that, once turned on, will keep you from getting debt for the next 24 hours of real time passed.
The Holiday Cheer Power: This power has one use only, so choose your target wisely! Target another player who you want to give a Mystery Gift to! They can then use their Mystery Gift temporary power to get a bonus! They will likely receive 250 influence or infamy (or prestige if they are in Supergroup mode) or they might receive 1 of a variety of bonus gifts! You can obtain more Mystery Gifts through Phase 2 of the Winter Event.
A new zone in and around Pocket D, the 'Ski Chalet' contains, as the name suggests, a Chalet in a winter-themed area, with the option to Ski down the slopes. In the zone is a new contact, Father Time, who will give you one repeatable mission with a choice of rewards at completion.
These rewards include;
Furry Boots and the 'Frosty' Badge.
Furry Gloves and the 'Crystallized' Badge.
Renewal of Light (8-day self rez power) and the 'Miraculous' Badge.
Golden Rings (12-day single target hold power) and the 'Joyful' Badge.
Part Two
Activated after the initial event, part two of the Christmas spawns presents all over the Rogue Isles and Paragon City! Click on the presents for fun!
