The wonderful world of City of Heroes and Villains is only going better in the months, and even years to come. But before the devs of NCSoft release their new creations upon us a lot of testing needs to be done. Nothing worse than broken toys.
And that is where you come in!
I have been given ten (10) access passes to the closed testing of the upcoming Issue 12: Midnight Hour. But it is all going to be a bit short notice. I am supposed to provide NCSoft by end of business today the ten winners.
So I will make this easy on you guys. The first ten people that bribe me with (a picture of) a cookie via PM will get in. I don't really care what kind, but I do like chocolate chip. Also include you global game handle in the PM since that is what I need to email NCSoft. (DO NOT PM me your account info or anything like that!)
The contest will close by 4pm EST today, and I will announce the winners straight away, and email NCSoft the winning game handles.
In April 2, 1996 Cookie Time was put firmly on the international map by baking the World’s Biggest Cookie - a giant chocolate chip creation covering an area of 487.15m˛ (or 5,243.6 sq ft!)... now, more than ten years on, Cookie Time are still hold the official Guinness World Record.
In 2003, American company Immaculate Baking Co. set about trying to break our record by baking a 100ft diameter cookie (ours was 81ft; 24.9 metres in diameter). At the time it looked like Americans might have done it - it certainly looked like one big pile of cookie dough! But as it turned out, they failed in their attempt to gain the official title from us, Cookie Time are still officially Guinness World Record holders for baking the World’s Biggest Cookie!
Our World Record beating cookie was...
• 487.15 square metres in area
• 24.9 metres in diameter
• 2.5 centimetres thick
And it contained...
• A whopping 13 tonnes of ingredients, including...
• 2.5 tonnes of chocolate - over 1 million chocolate chips
• 3.1 tonnes of sugar - enough for 600,000 cups of tea
• 2 tonnes of butter - enough for over 400,000 slices of toast
• 24,000 eggs - enough to have one a day for 65 years
• 4.5 tonnes of flour - enough for 12,000 batches of scones
The contest is closed, and my stomach full! *yum*, *yum*, *yum*, those were some excellent and tasty cookies. The following great members were all so kind and wonderful enough to send me this yummyness:
I know I said only the first 10, but I ate all the cookies, so I couldn't leave some of you out.
And now that I have my stomach full, and all of you excited. I have to tell you that this contest was set up by the sitemanager of City of Villains on April's Fool's Day!
Gotcha!
But because I do have a soft side too, and I really appreciate all the great cookies that came my way I have a tiny consolation price in the form of 25 GameAmp Credibility. Thanks everybody for contributing! I hope I don't have to go into hiding now.
DOH! Oh man, that was good. Though I might of fell for it if I had actually been at my computer. Very clever Phe, very clever. If I had a gold star to pass out then I would.
