Soon as you earn some influence, either by battle or selling a few enhancements, you can skillfully trek your way to Icon (NW corner of Steel) and spice up your outfit with color combinations and additions beyond the two colors we get to work with at start-up.
If below level 10, a quick trip to the hospital with cut your trek in half.
