This tip is pretty handy...especially at lower levels.
If you have a controller with Confuse or Deceive, have them use it on a baddie with a normally negative effect to you (i.e. Embalmed Cadavers/Abominations, Force Field Generators, Sorcerers(From the Tsoo)) and once they're confused, their effects will work for you instead. Embalmed ones will blow up and damage their allies(only downside to this is that you lose a little exp), Force Fields from the Generators will be applied to you and your team instead of your enemies, and Sorcerers will debuff your enemies and use O2 Boost to heal you(quite handy). And since Confuse/Deceive doesn't aggro mobs it's a fairly safe tactic to use.
Note: This tactic works better with Deceive because of the much shorter recharge time(easier confusion of Bosses).
