Tip Title Tip Category
Surving hazard zones at low levels General Knowledge

Stellari
Description

This tip works well in the Hollows and pretty well if you can move around easily in Perez Park. It has its benefits in the mid-level zones, like Faultline and Boomtown too. Do not expect this tip to help you much beyond Terra Volta though.

Many players have problems hunting or moving through the Hollows because it is their first time navigating around large groups of villians. If you allow these groups to drag you into battle, you are as good as dead. Do not succumb to their tactics. You are the hero. You are smarter than them.

If you have no intention of taking on a group of bad guys because you have other things to do or other bad guys to hunt down, run past the group as quickly as you can. This can be as simple as turning on sprint and takig off past them. Obviously if you have other powers, like stealth or hasten, they would be even more effective. Avoiding the group is the best solution, but next best is zipping through/past them.

This works well at lower levels because lower level bad guys have less of a chance of seeing you right away, less of a chance to hit you once they do see you, and do small amounts of damage. Sure a few of them might chase after you and shoot at you, but only one or two of them may hit you for a few points of damage. Also, the lower level bad guys give up faster when chasing you.

Remember though, don't stop to see how many of them did chase you, shot at you, hit you, etc. This may encourage them to finish the job. It will also give the others who did not notice you/chase you the chance to catch up and start in on you.
