Getting the damage badges are incredibly easy when you get the Rest power at level 2. First get a door mission. When your in the mission, find a slicer minion which does straight damage with no other effects that knock off toggles. Then kill everyone around him so he is alone. Hit him once with brawl then run away, when he stops chasing you, run back to where he was standing to begin with and turn on the Rest power. When you are resting damage is multipled by 4 so that means that a 5 damage hit does 20 damage. You may have to get a minion a level or so below you and make sure that you heal the damage faster than you take it, but once you have it right just leave it going overnight and when you come back you should have at least one damage badge. You need to make sure that you are in a door mission, if you are not then you will automatically be kicked off for being AFK (Away From Keyboard) after 20 minutes. This strategy does not work very well after level 5 because minions start doing more damage in proportion to your health. You can still do it when your a higher level but you have to be very careful.
I hope this help you badge hungry hunters out there. I know I have fun wearing the Adamant badge, for having taken 1,000,000 points of damage, on my level 3 controller and having people do double takes.
